Quality Control Specialist

About The Role The Quality Control Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they reach the market. This position involves meticulous inspection and testing of products to verify compliance with specifications and regulations. The specialist documents findings and implements corrective actions when necessary, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. By maintaining accurate records and reports, the specialist upholds the integrity of the production process, safeguarding customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation for quality. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience in quality control. Proven experience in quality assurance and quality control processes. Preferred Qualifications Certification in Quality Control or Quality Assurance. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) methodologies. Responsibilities Conduct regular quality inspections and tests on products to ensure they meet specified standards. Review and analyze batch records and product specifications to identify discrepancies. Document quality control findings and maintain organized filing systems for easy access to records. Collaborate with production teams to implement corrective actions and improve quality processes. Assist in training staff on quality assurance protocols and best practices. Skills The required skills in Quality Control and Quality Assurance ensure thorough inspections and compliance with product specifications. Document control skills maintain accurate records for traceability and accountability. Multitasking abilities enable efficient management of inspections and documentation, ensuring all quality standards are met without delays. Familiarity with batch records is important for tracking production processes and identifying potential quality issues.
