Senior UI/UX Designer

Senior UI/UX Designer: PetSafe Brands Experience: 5–7 years, individual contributor. Connected IoT consumer products. Lead end-to-end design on complex initiatives, mentor more junior designers, and raise the craft bar across the team. Profile — Containment Experience Lead Owns the full experience for our containment and tracking products — physical setup, in-app features, ongoing use. Embedded in engineering, partners closely with hardware teams, shifts into NPD mode when new products enter their domain. (Requirement) Deep experience with connected hardware / IoT consumer products. Has shipped a hardware product end-to-end (not just an app that talks to hardware). Comfortable designing for setup, pairing, connectivity states, firmware updates. Comfortable embedded in engineering teams and working within hardware constraints. Good signal in a portfolio: out-of-box experience flows, device pairing flows, designs that handle real-world hardware edge cases (offline states, low battery, sync failures).
