If you're inspired by new ideas and love bringing them to life, then we have the perfect canvas for you!Reporting into Director of Operations, the Hospitality Manager will help oversee a multi faceted high-volume full-service restaurant/venue with a game component. Hospitality Managers are responsible for executing exceptional operations during shift execution, from the food we serve to the guest service we provide in our venue. Manage hourly team members and provide them with leadership and development, while partnering closely with the Director of Operations and Assistant Director of Operations to achieve venue goals and business objectives.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:Oversee 1-2 areas of the venue operations including service, bar, reception, game & tech.Uphold company policies, processes, procedures, and standards to adhere to compliance and business objectives; inspires others to do the same.Effectively operate computer systems including a POS System, Online Team Member Scheduler.Manages controllable expenses for their area of responsibilityEnsure all side work is appropriately assigned and completedEnsure collaboration between kitchen and front of house operationsParticipate in hiring, training, and developing hourly associatesCreate, maintain and update associate schedules using weekly and daily forecasts.Conducts/leads pre-shift meetings to provide daily focus and provide continuous coaching and direction to hourly staffDrive accountability and consistency by providing constructive coaching and feedback.Manages Guest Service issues professionally and with a guest centric mindsetChampion the Puttshack brand by ensuring a consistent and exceptional guest experienceMaintain a safe, secure and healthy work environment and food safetyEnsure proper safety protocols to minimize risk and ensure a safe environment for guests and associates.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a manager in a full-service restaurant; experience within a high-volume food & beverage, hospitality, and/or social entertainment venueResults driven; ability to lead/coach team to achieve business objectives/goalsStrong communication skills with the ability to resolve conflict and provide direction to your teamsDemonstrates financial acumen, strong understanding of restaurant operationsTech savvy and willingness to learn new systems and tools.Flexible availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysThis position must pass a post-offer background checkPreferred Skills and Experience:Preferred certifications including ServSafe and state/local licensing requirementsHospitality Degree preferredPhysical Requirements:Physical activities on a continuous basis for up to 10 hours, including standing, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 40 lbs. may be required.The venue may include slick surfaces, stairs, narrow spaces, and navigating complex areas.The noise level in the work environment is typically moderate to high.Frequent use of telephone/video conferencing, and usage of a computer and keyboard to communicate through written means.The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions and responsibilities of this job.
