Clinical Specialist, Joint Replacement - Buffalo, NY

Stryker seeks a Clinical Specialist for joint replacement procedures in Buffalo, NY. The role involves supporting orthopedic surgeons in the operating room with robotic and manual procedures, including pre-operative planning, equipment setup, and real-time procedural assistance. The position is field-based with 80% travel and requires on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with pre-operative CT-based planning, implant sizing, and positioning using Mako software
• Prepare operating room cases including instrumentation checks, equipment setup, and readiness verification
• Troubleshoot technical issues and support robotic and manual orthopedic procedures during surgery
• Manage account coordination tasks including inventory management, documentation, and logistics
• Participate in on-call coverage for evenings, weekends, and holidays to support urgent cases

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate degree with 4 years related experience, or high school diploma with 6 years related experience
• Valid driver's license
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand for extended periods in operating room
• Preferred: 1 year relevant clinical experience (nursing, surgical technology, physical therapy, or similar)

Compensation: $59,900–$83,300 USD annual
