Ultrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)

Join the team in Mason City, IA at a hospital. You will operate specialized ultrasound equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images used by physicians to evaluate and treat medical conditions. This role requires attention to detail, effective communication with clinical teams, and adherence to imaging protocols and safety standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• National certification in specialty from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (preferred credentials accepted).
• 2 years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing general/abdominal and vascular ultrasound exams in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to work with ultrasound equipment and exam documentation systems commonly used in hospital radiology departments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional sonography certifications (e.g., RDMS, RVT) preferred.
• Experience with cardiac or specialty ultrasound modalities preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours include 0800–1630.
• Schedule includes a combination of 8-hour and 12-hour shifts per VMS details.
