Night ICU Nurse - 3x12-Hour Shifts

Location: Ontario, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Nurse with a specialty in cardiac care to join our dynamic team. The nurse will be responsible for providing critical care to patients requiring intensive monitoring and intervention, including post-cardiac catheterization procedures and assistance with devices such as balloon pumps and Impellas.

Responsibilities

• Management of dysrhythmias and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips.
• Care of ventilated patients, including suctioning and isolation precautions.
• Central line care and management, as well as arterial line management.
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias and monitoring central venous pressure (CVP).
• Preparation and care for patients undergoing pre/post cardiac catheterization interventions.
• Ability to float between multiple campuses as needed.
• Participate in call rotations as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience, with a preference for cardiac experience.
• Current Ohio or compact nursing license.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Travel experience is required.
• Epic charting system experience preferred.
