Professional Search Group (PSG) is seeking a detail-oriented Laser Engraving & Test Operator to support manufacturing operations for pH sensors and related products. This position focuses primarily on laser engraving and product testing/inspection, with additional responsibilities in documentation, packaging, and general production support.

The ideal Laser Engraving & Test Operator has manufacturing or production experience, good computer skills, and the ability to follow detailed instructions while maintaining high quality standards. This role requires flexibility to move between engraving and testing tasks based on daily production needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate laser engraving equipment to mark products accurately according to work orders and specifications.
• Set up equipment, change fixtures, and select established machine programs as needed.
• Perform product testing, inspections, and quality checks to ensure products meet requirements.
• Read and follow work orders, production documents, drawings, and work instructions.
• Complete production records, test documentation, and product certificates accurately.
• Package and label finished products according to established procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting product failures and communicate issues to Production, Quality, and Engineering teams.
• Handle delicate glass sensors and small components carefully.
• Perform basic assembly and use hand tools as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Support continuous improvement and Lean manufacturing initiatives.
• Shift between engraving, testing, inspection, and other production tasks based on workload and priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, laser engraving, or product testing experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Ability to operate equipment using established programs and instructions.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, technical documents, and written procedures.
• Strong attention to detail, especially when checking product markings, part information, test results, and labels.
• Ability to work independently while meeting quality and production standards.
• Basic hand tool and assembly skills.
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or 6S principles is a plus.
