Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Days, 07:00 - 16:30
Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing therapeutic interventions to aid patients in their recovery from various conditions, including strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and orthopedic injuries.
Responsibilities:
- Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists.
- Assist patients in daily living activities and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor patient progress and document outcomes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care.
- Utilize specialized equipment and therapeutic devices effectively.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current COTA certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant setting.
- Experience with adult and geriatric populations preferred.
- Familiarity with orthopedic and neurological conditions is a plus.
