Multi-Site Leasing Agent

We are seeking a dependable and organized Multi-Site Leasing Agent to join a well-established, family-owned real estate company in Kansas City, MO . The company manages approximately 400 residential units across 20 properties, all located within a close area of each other.

We are looking for someone who is good with people, comfortable working independently and good at following up. This person will handle leasing across the portfolio, so you won't be sitting at one property all day. You will be showing apartments, following up with prospects and helping make sure new residents have a great experience from the initial showing through move-in.

Responsibilities

• Market available apartments through Apartments.com, Zillow and social media
• Handle leasing and show available apartments across multiple properties
• Follow up with prospects and help maintain strong occupancy
• Manage the applicant approval process and communicate with applicants throughout the process
• Guide new residents through the steps leading up to move-in, including deposits, utilities and other move-in requirements
• Walk apartments before move-in to make sure they are clean and ready for the new resident
• Be available on move-in day to welcome new residents, provide keys and make sure everything is in place
• Maintain relationships with residents and help with questions after move-in
• Conduct move-out inspections and keep the management team updated on progress
• Coordinate any needed touch-ups with the maintenance team
• Keep leasing and prospect activity updated in Yardi and RentCafe

What We're Looking For

• Previous leasing or property management experience preferred
• Yardi and RentCafe experience strongly preferred
• Strong customer service, communication and follow-up skills
• Friendly, dependable and organized
• Comfortable juggling multiple properties and priorities
• Able to work independently and take ownership of the position
• Must have a reliable vehicle since you will be traveling between properties

Compensation & Benefits

• $60,000 annual base salary
• Commission paid in addition to base salary
• Historically, someone performing well in this position has earned approximately $15,000 to $20,000 per year in commissions

• Gas paid for travel between properties

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM

No regular weekend work is expected.
