Job Title: Warehouse Associate

URGENT NEED - 1st Shift $20 Crystal Lake

Job Description

General production role, picking, packing, moving material. Available to start ASAP!

Responsibilities

• Pull materials from inventory and move them to and from workstations to support production, with primary support for the small parts welding area.
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading, packing orders, and preparing materials for shipment.
• Use RF scanners or similar tools to track materials, verify quantities, and maintain accurate inventory and production records.
• Handle general labor tasks such as lifting boxes, packing orders, and organizing materials to maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse staff, heavy assemblers, machine operators, welders, and paint personnel to support overall shop operations.

Essential Skills

• Proven material handling experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
• Experience using overhead cranes to move and position heavy materials.
• Comfort working in a heavy industrial environment with large equipment and conveyors.
• Ability to follow work orders, production schedules, and written instructions accurately.
• Experience with packaging, lifting boxes, packing orders, and general production tasks.
• Knowledge of basic shipping and receiving processes, including loading, unloading, and staging materials.
• Ability to use pallet jacks and other standard material handling equipment safely.
• Attention to safety procedures and safe operation of forklifts, cranes, and related equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working in a welding or fabrication area, supporting welders and machine operators.
• Familiarity with RF scanners or similar technology for picking, tracking, and inventory management.
• Background in environments with burn tables, press brakes, CNC machines, or other heavy manufacturing equipment.
• Comfort working in a facility with approximately 50 or more shop employees, including warehouse, heavy assemblers, machine operators, welders, and paint staff.
• Ability to adapt to changing production needs and support multiple departments as required.
• Strong organizational skills for staging materials and maintaining an efficient warehouse layout.

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, IL.

The pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
