Safety & Security Officer

Full-time Positions: Position 1 = Tues -Sat 3-11:30 p.m. Position 2 - Wed/Thurs 1-9 pm, Fri-Sat 7pm-3am, Sun 11am-7pm

Position 3 - Sun, Mon, Wed, Thurs, Fri - 3-11:30 pm

Part-time Position: Mon, Tues, Wed 7pm-3am

As a Safety and Security Officer, you play a crucial role in creating a safe and welcoming atmosphere for our valued hotel guests and dedicated staff. You will be at the forefront of maintaining security by monitoring our premises, delivering top-notch customer service, and swiftly addressing any security issues that may arise. 

KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Engage proactively with guests and team members to ensure a secure environment that prioritizes their safety and well-being.
• Maintain keen observation skills to identify potential security threats. 
• Provide friendly and service-oriented interactions with guests. 
• Demonstrate proficiency in implementing essential security protocols and procedures.
• Handle challenges and concerns promptly and effectively with solutions that uphold our commitment to safety and excellence. 

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent. 
• Previous experience in a safety and security role or a related field is strongly preferred but not required. 
• Certificate of Completion in Safety and Security Training and/or State Security License, to include applicable background checks, per State requirements. 
• CPR, First Aid and AED Certification from American Heart Association, Red Cross or HIS. 
• AHLA Certified Lodging Security Officer certification completed within 30 days of hire.
