Regional Marketing Coordinator - FMCG

About the Role Our client, a leading company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is looking for a dynamic and organized Regional Marketing Coordinator to join their team in Welkom, Free State . This role will focus on supporting the execution of marketing strategies within the region, ensuring brand visibility and driving consumer engagement. The ideal candidate will be passionate about marketing, possess excellent organizational skills, and be eager to contribute to the success of well-known FMCG brands. This position requires a hands-on approach and a dedicated presence within the designated region. Key Responsibilities Assist in the planning and execution of regional marketing campaigns and promotional activities. Coordinate with local retailers and partners to ensure effective product placement and in-store visibility. Support the management of social media channels and digital marketing initiatives for the region. Organize and manage local events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities. Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, gathering data and insights. Manage marketing collateral inventory and distribution within the region. Liaise with advertising agencies and other marketing service providers as needed. Conduct market research and competitor analysis at a local level. Ensure brand consistency across all regional marketing efforts. Provide administrative support to the marketing team as required. Requirements A relevant qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 1-3 years of experience in a marketing or brand support role, preferably within the FMCG industry. Familiarity with marketing principles and campaign execution. Excellent organizational and project management skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic knowledge of social media platforms. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude. Must be based in or willing to relocate to Welkom, Free State , and travel within the region as needed. A valid driver's license and own reliable transport are essential for regional travel.
