Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLocation: Angelina, Polk, and Tyler CountiesPosition Number: P #1450Compensation: Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.About the RoleBurke is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech, oral motor therapy, and consultative services to developmentally delayed and/or medically at-risk children from birth to age three through community-based and telehealth settings. As part of the Burke Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) team, this position also conducts screenings and assessments and participates in developing comprehensive, family-centered treatment plans.What You'll DoProvide speech and oral motor therapy in community-based and telehealth settings, as recommended by the interdisciplinary team.Deliver consultative services to children, families, caregivers, and team members.Conduct speech-language screenings and assessments for infants and toddlers who are developmentally delayed and/or medically at risk.Participate in the development, implementation, and review of comprehensive, individualized treatment plans.Document services accurately and timely in accordance with program requirements and professional standards.Collaborate with families and other ECI professionals to support each child's development in everyday routines and environments.Complete required program training and maintain compliance with Burke policies and applicable licensing requirements.QualificationsRequiredMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.Current ASHA certification.Current Speech-Language Pathology license is issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology.Valid Texas driver's license and a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and all other training required by the program.PreferredOne (1) year of experience working with children from birth to age three and/or preschool-age children.Work ScheduleMonday - Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.BenefitsEligible full-time employees enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan with employer matchPaid vacation and sick leavePaid holidaysEmployer-paid life insuranceEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)Physical RequirementsThis position requires sight, hearing, speaking, walking, bending, driving a vehicle, hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Equal Opportunity EmployerBurke is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate based on race, color, sex, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, or any other protected characteristic unless such characteristic is a bona fide occupational qualification.Applicants must provide proof of identity and employment authorization as part of the hiring process.
