Registered Nurse (RN) Womens Services

Job Summary Join our remarkable team as a Registered Nurse (RN) at Jackson Purchase Medical Center in Mayfield, KY. This is a full‑time position (schedule 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) in the Women’s Services Unit, an 8‑bed unit focused on comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities Perform plan of care interventions including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments. Document patient care activities. Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families. Assist patients with activities of daily living (personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, ambulation). Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Evaluate learning needs of patients and families and provide education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances. Advocate for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients. Qualifications Active RN license. Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire. ACLS and PALS certifications required within six months of hire. One year of experience preferred; ASLS certification preferred.
