CNC Machinist

Job Description Position: CNC Machinist Location: Loganville, GA Schedule: Mon–Fri, 4pm - 4:30am Pay: $26.00 – $32.00/hr Job Type: Direct Hire Job Summary We are hiring a CNC Machinist for a client seeking an experienced machinist to set up and operate CNC equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. This role requires strong blueprint reading skills, hands‑on machining experience, and the ability to work independently to produce finished parts that meet production specifications. Responsibilities Set up and operate manual CNC machines, including drill presses, lathes, and mills Create, edit, and modify G&M code and Mazatrol programs to support progressive machining Troubleshoot machine alarms and ensure accurate part production Perform machine adjustments and routine maintenance in compliance with safety standards Read and interpret blueprints to verify part accuracy Manage and organize raw materials to minimize waste Maintain a clean and orderly work environment Must Haves Proficient in reading a tape measure to 1/8\", 1/16\", and 1/32\" increments with inch-to-decimal conversions Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience using precision measuring tools, including digital/vernier calipers and micrometers Knowledge of dimensions and sizing of common structural steel Technical degree in Machine Tool Technology or equivalent machining experience Preferred Skills Experience with Mazatrol programming Background in a high‑volume or production machining environment Familiarity with G&M code editing and troubleshooting Strong organizational skills and attention to detail #ZR Company Description At SKL'D, we make job hunting easy, exciting, and full of possibilities.
