If so, we want to hear from you! Walker’s Truck & Trailer Service is looking for a Welder Fabricator . This hands-on role requires highly skilled welding in aluminum and stainless steel . You’ll work on projects from concept to completion, including spatial planning, creating sketches without prints, researching and selecting purchased components, and testing the final product. Key Responsibilities: fabricate and build projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results. Perform skilled welding in aluminum and stainless steel , ensuring that projects meet design and functionality standards. Plan and create spatial layouts and sketches for fabrication without relying on prints. Research, select, and procure necessary components and materials for projects. Oversee and collaborate with a small team of 2-4 people, ensuring that tasks are completed according to project timelines and specifications. Utilize knowledge of pipe fitting , PTOs , pumps , air systems , hydraulic systems , and truck & trailer electrical systems to complete projects. Maintain strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with team members, management, and other departments. Qualifications: Proven experience in welding and fabrication, especially in aluminum and stainless steel . Experience in spatial planning, sketching designs, and overseeing fabrication projects without prints. Knowledge of pipe fitting , PTOs , pumps , air systems , hydraulic systems , and truck & trailer electrical systems . Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of managing a small team and keeping projects on track. Ability to anticipate obstacles and develop solutions to ensure project success. Compensation and Benefits: Hourly wage: $26 per hour or more , depending on experience. Competitive benefits including health insurance and 401k matching.
