Practice Assistant – Clinical SupportSchedule40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4 PM & 8:30 AM - 5 PM. No weekends or major holidays.Assignment DetailsContract length: 13 weeks. Guaranteed hours: 40.RequirementsHigh School diploma or GED.Successful completion of a medical assistant program (CCMA, RMA, or CMA) or at least 3 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting.Excellent customer service and communication skills.Basic computer proficiency and the ability to maintain confidentiality.Ability to perform basic math and quantitative measurements.Familiarity with medical terminology and abbreviations.ResponsibilitiesProvides clinical support by performing various patient care interventions under the supervision of licensed nursing staff or providers.Participates in the patient intake process, including documentation of vital signs and medical history.Monitors patient flow and communicates wait times to patients.Ensures accurate patient records and documentation.Assists with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying demographic information.Identifies emergency situations and initiates appropriate responses.Compliance / NotesMust adhere to all hospital policies and protocols regarding patient care and confidentiality.Client Details City Boston State MA
