Field Applications Engineer – Motion Control & Automation (Bay Area, CA) A U.S.-based motion systems manufacturer is seeking a Field Applications Engineer to support customers in the Bay Area. The position focuses on providing technical assistance, product integration support, and field-based application development for motion control solutions. Responsibilities Provide technical, installation, and troubleshooting support for motion systems and drives. Work directly with customers on system design, product selection, and integration. Review technical drawings and specifications to develop proposals and configurations. Conduct field visits, product demos, and training sessions. Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to ensure customer needs are met. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering preferred. 2+ years of experience in motion control, automation, or robotics. Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills. Ability to travel within the Bay Area and occasionally outside the region. U.S. work authorization required.
