Your future role at a glance Location: Murfreesboro, TN Facility: Saint Thomas Rutherford Department: Pharmacy Schedule: Part-Time| Evenings How you'll make an impact in this role Clinical Review & Intervention: Assessing medication orders to prevent drug-drug interactions, dosing errors, or contraindications, and suggesting formulary alternatives to optimize therapy. Operations & Oversight: Compounding and dispensing medications while supervising Pharmacy Technicians in the preparation and maintenance of supplies. Education & Consultation: Providing drug information to physicians and nurses, counseling patients on their medications, and serving as a Preceptor to mentor pharmacy students. Collaborative Care: Working directly with the healthcare team to resolve drug-related problems and facilitate smooth transitions of care. What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Pharmacist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Pharmacy obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: Bachelor's or advanced degree in Pharmacy required.
