Travel Registered Nurse ER Job

Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel) in Aberdeen, Washington, United States. Start date: 09/08/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,220–$2,383 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts. Work setting: a hospital environment delivering acute emergency care to a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including triage, initial assessment, stabilization, and ongoing monitoring
- Administer medications and IV therapy per physician orders; monitor for adverse effects and ensure patient safety
- Respond to emergencies, participate in code response, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary ED team
- Document patient status, interventions, and care plans in the electronic medical record (Meditech knowledge is helpful but not required)
- Communicate clearly with physicians, mid-level providers, case management, and ancillary staff; support accurate discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain clinical competencies, adhere to infection control standards, and protect patient confidentiality

Requirements
- Active RN license in Washington State or a multi-state license with Nursys verification; approved 6-hour suicide training
- Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS
- Emergency Department nursing experience; strong clinical judgment and teamwork skills
- Education: RN degree from an accredited program
- Ability to work night shifts and 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced ED setting
- RTO (time off) must be pre-approved and added to the end of the contract; full availability for scheduling
- Knowledge of Meditech is helpful but not required
