Senior Product Manager, Machine Identity

Role Description

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Developer & AI team, focused on defining and driving the roadmap for Machine Identity — one of the hardest problems in modern security: how applications, services, and infrastructure authenticate without relying on long-lived credentials. This is a high-impact role at the center of one of 1Password's most critical strategic bets: Unified Access.

• Partner closely with a Senior Staff Product Manager, engineering, design, and go-to-market leaders.
• Shape how developers and enterprises manage machine identities across every workflow that matters to them.
• Own roadmap definition, prioritization, and product strategy for the Machine Identity group.
• Ensure the customer voice is present in every decision.
• Your work directly contributes to 1Password's north star: be the universal source for all identities and credentials.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in a product management role, with a track record of owning features or product areas end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience writing PRDs, PRFAQs, or similar product specifications.
• Strong customer empathy — a demonstrated ability to gather feedback, identify patterns, and translate customer needs into clear, prioritized requirements.
• Comfort operating in a high-growth, fast-moving environment where priorities evolve and clarity needs to be created, not just inherited.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.

Requirements

• Familiarity with developer tools, enterprise SaaS, or security products.
• Experience with using AI engineering tools for your own side-projects.
• Experience with identity, secrets management, or infrastructure security.

Benefits

• USA-based roles: Annual base salary between $118,000 USD and $165,000 USD, plus immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others).
• Canada-based roles: Annual base salary between $113,000 CAD and $158,000 CAD, plus immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others).
