Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

• 12 months gap required between for Per Diem at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - (Midwest) CommonSpirit Health.

Required Credentials: You are required to pass a Basic Dysrhythmia/EKG exam during onboarding.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: Days-1:5 and Nights-1:6. Surgical patients include total joints, fractures, bariatric, urology, and general surgery; medical patients include CHF, CVA, shortness of breath, and diabetic issues. No titratable drips. Uses CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow. Telemetry on unit; monitor tech reads strips and RN confirms.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday. Call or standby required, with LCD.

Floating Requirements: First to float.

Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 3 years
