• Repair and maintain customer equipment to ensure products are working properly, as needed.
• Troubleshoots electric controls, motor controls, and programmable logic controls remotely and on customer sites.
• Works with OEM technical support team to troubleshoot units as needed.
• Communicates all project needs with managers.
• Maintains excellent housekeeping standards to maintain a safe work area.
• Maintains effective communication with upper management and customers.
• Installs new fume extraction systems and duct work at customer sites.
• Maintains excellent attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Intermediate computer knowledge.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with little to no supervision.
• Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Ensure accurate documentation of service reports, parts usage, labor time, and test results
• Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and professional appearance

Essential skills and experience:

5 years+ of experience in single and 3 phase power, up to 480V.

5 years+ of experience in repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems

Proficient in troubleshooting electric motors, motor controls, and other electrical/mechanical systems

5 years+ experience using hand tools, power tools, electrical testing equipment, material handling equipment, diagnostic tools, etc.

The ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower 50-75lb material

2 years+ forklift experience

Experience operating a scissor lift and telehandler

The ability to gain a quick understanding of welding fume extraction equipment

Must be willing to travel up to twice a month, for up to 4 nights at a time

Must have a valid drivers license and reliable driving record
