Industrial Painter Responsibilities:

• Prepare fabricated steel and metal components for painting through cleaning, sanding, masking, grinding, and other surface preparation methods
• Apply a variety of industrial coatings, primers, paints, and finishes according to company standards and customer specifications
• Inspect surfaces and finished products to ensure coating quality, coverage, and adherence to specifications
• Safely operate material handling equipment, including forklifts, overhead cranes, and air carts
• Maintain paint equipment and work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition
• Follow OSHA, HazMat, and company safety procedures regarding the handling, storage, and disposal of paints, coatings, and related materials
• Assist with material movement and production activities as needed
• Support continuous improvement efforts and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment

Requirements for Industrial Painter:

3-5 years of industrial painting, coating application, or related manufacturing experience preferred

Experience working with structural steel, fabricated metal products, or heavy industrial equipment is a plus

Ability to safely operate forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality workmanship

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a team environment

Dependable work ethic with the flexibility to work overtime when production demands require

Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the workday

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Ability to work around large fabricated steel components and manufacturing equipment

Comfortable working in a production environment with exposure to paints, coatings, and related materials while using proper PPE
