Summer Gymnastics Fitness Center Associate

Provides excellent customer service to all members and guests, ensuring adherence to company policies. Responsibilities include performing front desk duties and supervising activities for children. Education Required – At least 16 years of age and enrolled in high school. Preferred Preferred – None specified for education. Work Experience Preferred – 1 year of customer service experience. Certifications Required – CPR within 30 days of employment. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Computer skills and dexterity required for data entry and retrieval of information. Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally. Proficiency with Windows-style applications and various software packages specific to role. Strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task and self-motivate. Job Duties Perform all assigned duties while providing excellent customer service by welcoming and interacting with members/guests, proactively solving problems, and addressing member concerns. Remain knowledgeable and provide information on all programs and services including Membership, Kidsports, Childcare, Gymnastics, Group fitness training, and Aquatics. Enforce all fitness center policies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Perform tasks such as cash handling and bookings, childcare, monitoring children, and supervising children in scheduled areas of the facility. Other related duties as required. Physical and Environmental Demands Medium work – May require exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently. May need to lift objects, stoop, bend, reach, grab, and stand for prolonged periods. Mechanical lifting devices or team lifts should be used. Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid, or tissue, but exposure or potential for exposure may occur. The incumbent may work with individuals with communicable diseases, with risk of exposure. There may be exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste.
