Maintenance Technician

Harney District Hospital is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to join their Facilities Team! This person will be responsible for performing a wide variety of semi-skilled maintenance, grounds-keeping, mechanical repair, replacement and remodeling tasks in order to maintain the attractiveness and use of District Facilities. This position starts at $21.46/hour and increases based on experience. This full-time position is also eligible for our benefits; which includes medical, vision, dental, choice of retirement plans, and generous paid time off.

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Knowledge of general maintenance and repair methods.
• Blueprint reading
• Safe operation of related equipment
• Arithmetic to include decimals and fractions
• Recordkeeping practices
• Basic computer skills

Education and Experience:

• Equivalent to a high school education
• Over one (1) year of related experience, or any satisfactory combination of experience and training which demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the above duties.
