Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7p–7a)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients (32 weeks gestation and greater), including elective and medical inductions of labor, stable antepartum patients, postpartum patients, and well newborns
• Circulate in OR suites for cesarean sections as needed
• Titrate drips per protocol, including Pitocin, magnesium sulfate, and insulin as indicated
• Perform triage assessments and manage triage patient flow
• Adhere to AWHONN staffing standards, including 1:1 ratios in L&D and 1:6 couple care in postpartum
• Float to like Labor and Delivery units within the valley as needed (all locations within approximately 20 minutes); may occasionally serve as a sitter in Med/Surg or the ED

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Idaho or compact state eligibility
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• NRP certification required
• S.T.A.B.L.E. course completion (at least once) required
• AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, postpartum, and OR circulating required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Triage experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with GE Connect electronic fetal monitoring system
• Experience working within AWHONN staffing and practice guidelines
