Resort Lake Attendant

Lake Attendant Position As our Resort Lake Attendant, you will help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitary lake area while ensuring all safety equipment is present at and around the lake area at all times. This is a seasonal position that may require flexible scheduling availability. Responsibilities Ensure all posted lake rules are being adhered to Ensure safety equipment is present and in working order Check the first aid kit for needed supplies on a daily basis Rake beach on a daily basis Check inflatables for missing, defective, or worn parts Check each section of the inflatable is firm and tight Check the security of anchors and attachments Assist guests in and out of kayaks and paddle boards Sweep the pool deck and all surrounding areas daily Pull weeds in common areas as needed Qualifications Lifeguard (required) Must be 18 years of age or older Must have the flexibility to respond to resort needs during non-business hours Ability to follow verbal and written instructions Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet Strong communication and organizational skills The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The number of hours you will be scheduled to work during the week is variable and is based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors. Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
