Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Underground Pipe Layer to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for installing underground utilities such as sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and other utility infrastructure. Your expertise blueprint reading, and utility trenching will ensure the successful installation of complex underground piping systems. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to essential infrastructure projects while working in a dynamic and safety-focused environment. Your dedication will help build reliable utility networks that serve communities and industries alike.

Responsibilities

Install underground utilities such as sanitary drainage systems, sewer lines, water supply systems, stormwater systems, and sanitary sewers with precision
Use pipe lasers and other specialized tools to ensure proper alignment and elevation during pipe installation
Conduct utility locating to identify existing underground utilities before excavation begins to prevent damage or service disruptions
Perform construction trenching activities adhering to safety regulations and project standards
Maintain compliance with federal construction safety regulations and safety protocol adherence at all times
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks on the construction site

Experience

Proven experience in underground utility installation or related construction projects with a focus on sewer, water, or stormwater systems
Knowledge of blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and following construction plans accurately
Familiarity with utility trenching techniques and underground utilities installation procedures
Understanding of safety regulations specific to heavy equipment operation and underground construction sites
Experience working on municipal infrastructure sectors is a plus
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining high saf
