Assistant Community Manager

Pay: $19-$21/hr. 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 5:30 pm 
Industry: Residential Property Management / Manufactured Home Communities

Position Overview

The Assistant Community Manager supports the Community Manager with daily operations of a manufactured home community, including resident relations, rent collections, leasing administration, maintenance coordination, and recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily community operations and administrative tasks.

• Manage resident communications, address concerns, and maintain positive resident relationships.

• Support rent collections, billing, payment tracking, and delinquency follow-up.

• Assist with leasing paperwork, move-ins, renewals, and accurate resident records.

• Coordinate maintenance requests, vendors, and work orders to ensure timely completion.

• Help organize community events and resident engagement activities.

• Ensure compliance with company policies, Fair Housing regulations, and applicable state requirements.

• Provide general operational support to the Community Manager and on-site team.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of property management experience.

• High school diploma or GED.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Experience with rent collections, leasing administration, and resident relations.

• Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently while supporting community leadership.

• Computer proficiency and comfort using property management software.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential property management, apartments, multifamily housing, or manufactured home communities.
