Powerapps/Platform DeveloperKadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a PowerApps/Platform Developer with a Top-Secret security clearance to support our government customer in Vienna, VA. This position will be responsible for developing, managing, and administering the client's SharePoint site, while leveraging Microsoft technologies to enhance operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in SharePoint and web development and experience with Power Platform solutions (primarily Power Apps and Power Automate), combined with excellent project management and communication skills. This role requires an active Top Secret security clearance and will support operations onsite in the Washington DC location. This position presents an opportunity to make a significant impact on information management processes while working with a dedicated team of professionals.Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to: The PowerApps/Platform Developer will be responsible for the comprehensive management and technical advancement of the client SharePoint environment and related Microsoft technologies. Principal responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Develop, manage, and administer the client's SharePoint sites, ensuring optimal functionality, performance, permission management, and user experienceDesign, implement, and maintain advanced SharePoint solutions including lists, libraries, pages, forms, web parts, and workflows to meet organizational needs and streamline business processesSupport facilities/finance systems by integrating relevant data and processes into the SharePoint environmentPrepare sites for migration from SharePoint 2013 to SharePoint Online and support post-migration updatesConvert custom-coded JavaScript/jQuery functionality within SharePoint forms and pages into SharePoint Framework (SPFx), JSON, or Out of the Box (OOTB) SharePoint/alternative solutionsDevelop surveys in SharePoint or Microsoft FormsExport data from SharePoint, perform data analysis, and support delivery of strategic reports in response to client requests and business needsDeliver expert advice and recommendations regarding website organization, development, and knowledge management best practicesTrain and support end users in troubleshooting and utilizing SharePoint and Power Apps tools to maximize effective useDocument all solutions, processes, and procedures to ensure knowledge transfer and sustainability of future development effortsDevelop and manage Power Automate flows to automate SharePoint, Power Apps, and other Microsoft 365 application functions and provide re-occurring information dissemination to personnelConvert SharePoint 2010 and 2013 workflows to Power Automate flowsDevelop, test, and deploy Microsoft Power Apps solutions to convert legacy tools, support business processes, and enhance productivity (experience may be gained on the job)Continually research and implement new SharePoint and Power Platform capabilities to enhance organizational effectivenessEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field2-5+ years of experience in SharePoint 2013 and SharePoint Online administration and development0-3+ years of experience with Power Apps0-3+ years of experience with Power Automate1-3+ years of experience with JavaScript/jQuery developmentExperience working in government or government contractor environment preferredActive Top Secret security clearance requiredRequired Skills and Competencies:Demonstrated proficiency in SharePoint administration, site design, and governanceProficiency in creating advanced Power Automate flows for business process automationExperience designing and implementing custom forms and tracking systemsAbility to collect and translate business requirements into technical solutionsStrong JavaScript programming skills with the ability to update custom code solutions for SharePointWorking knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern web development practicesStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Power Point)Ability to analyze data and generate charts and reportsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while managing multiple prioritiesExperience documenting technical solutions and creating user training materialsUnderstanding of information architecture and knowledge management principlesAbility and willingness to work onsite at the client location in Washington DCDesired Skills and Competencies:Familiarity with database design principlesExperience with SharePoint migration and governance planningKnowledge of Power Apps development, including canvas and/or model-driven appsExperience developing custom solutions using JSON or SharePoint Framework (SPFx)Knowledge of SharePoint REST API and client-side object model (CSOM)Experience with Power BI for data visualization and reportingKnowledge of Agile development methodologiesExperience integrating SharePoint with other enterprise systemsUnderstanding of federal government IT policies and proceduresExperience with records management and compliance requirementsKnowledge of accessibility standards and Section 508 complianceClearance Requirement:Active Top Secret security clearanceOur Equal Employment Opportunity Policy: The company is an equal opportunity employer.
