Private Duty Nurse - Part Time Local Agency: Brightstar Care of Chicago and La Grange Location: Chicago, IL Position Type: Part Time - hourly Req ID: 2866208 Private Duty Nurse needed with experience in Advanced Dementia. Home Care client needs a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse for his ongoing schedule. Shift Need: Wednesdays and Thursdays from 7am-1pm; Fridays 7am-7pm (24 Hours per Week) (Additional client shifts available if requested) Pay: $38-40/Hour Nurse Overview: Join a leader in the home health care industry. If providing compassionate, high quality care as a Nurse is your passion, BrightStar has an opportunity for you. We are looking for either LPNs or RNs with a compassion for keeping clients home. Nurse Job Duties: Perform care as defined by client’s individual Plan of Care and within scope of state’snurse practice act. Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes. Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill. Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state andfederal laws. Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs.
