Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts./ppOur strength lies in the broad range of techniques and custom special effects solutions we use to create first class spectaculars including laser effects, video projection and mapping, pyrotechnics, architectural lighting installs, custom constructed sets and bespoke engineered special effect solutions for live events and permanent applications./ppImage Engineering is seeking a dedicated full-time Warehouse Technician to join our Baltimore Headquarters team, responsible for preparing, organizing, and maintaining equipment used across a wide range of productions, from professional sports presentations to major touring events. The reliability and safety of our equipment are essential to the success of every show we deliver, and our Warehouse Team plays a critical role in ensuring assets are properly prepared, maintained, and ready for deployment. This position is based in Baltimore and follows a Monday through Friday schedule during normal business hours, with overtime available or required based on operational needs. Following training and demonstrated proficiency, opportunities to support live shows as a field Technician may be available on a voluntary basis./ppKey Responsibilities:/pulliPrepare, organize, and manage special effects and support equipment for show deployment under moderate supervision by:/liliFollowing detailed verbal and written instructions, including gear lists and packing plans/liliInspecting, verifying, and counting equipment to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper condition prior to shipment/liliScanning and tracking equipment using the companys inventory management system/liliPacking equipment into storage containers according to established procedures and show requirements/liliReceiving, inspecting, and properly storing equipment returned from shows/liliPerforming basic inventory maintenance and reporting discrepancies or damaged assets/liliMaintaining equipment organization and readiness within the warehouse/liliSupporting adherence to established warehouse procedures, safety practices, and handling standards/liliSharing knowledge of standard operating procedures and preferred workflows with team members/liliAssisting with task coordination and prioritization when immediate supervisory direction is unavailable/li/ulpSecondary Responsibilities:/pulliPrepare packages and freight for shipment using approved carriers and methods/liliReceive, inspect, and process inbound shipments from vendors and third parties/liliConduct local pickups and deliveries using company-owned vehicles, as needed/liliMaintain a safe, clean, and well-organized workspace, including shelves, pallets, and work areas/liliComplete required safety and compliance training and follow OSHA and company safety policies/liliPerform other related duties as assigned/li/ulpRequirements:/pulliMust be at least 18 years of age/liliAble to work effectively in a fast-paced, physically active environment/liliWillingness to learn basic repair and maintenance of special effects and event production equipment/liliValid U.S. Drivers License required/liliAble to pass a background check and drug screening/liliForklift certification preferred; willingness to obtain certification and operate forklifts regularly/li/ulpEducation / Experience Requirements:/pulliHigh school diploma or equivalent/liliAt least one year of warehouse experience/li/ulpSuccessful applicants are highly-motivated self-starters with strong attention to detail./ppCompany Benefits:/pulliHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance/liliFlexible Time Off Program/liliPaid Holidays/liliJohn Hancock 401(k) Retirement Plan/liliCompany-Paid Life Insurance/liliAflac Supplemental Insurance/liliRobust Employee Assistance Program/liliDependent Care FSA Program/lili...and more!/li/ul/div
