Base salary: $80,000–$90,000 + annual bonus eligibility

We're hiring an Off-Shift Maintenance Supervisor at our 24/7 manufacturing facility in North East, Pennsylvania. You'll lead a maintenance crew, partner closely with production, and help keep equipment operating safely and reliably. Your impact will show up in stronger team capabilities, less downtime, and a plant that's ready to meet production demands.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop your crew. Set daily priorities, assign work, coach mechanics, and provide clear feedback that builds skills and accountability.

• Keep production moving. Partner with production and processing supervisors to troubleshoot equipment issues, coordinate repairs, and maximize uptime.

• Support reliable equipment. Oversee maintenance and repair of production and processing equipment, mechanical and electrical systems, and seasonal support equipment.

• Maintain essential plant systems. Coordinate maintenance for refrigeration, boilers, wastewater treatment, buildings, and facilities.

• Strengthen how the work gets done. Evaluate equipment performance and maintenance practices to identify opportunities to improve safety, reliability, and efficiency.

• Prepare for seasonal operations. Help ensure equipment and your team are ready for changing production and harvest needs.

What You'll Bring

• At least four years of experience supervising equipment maintenance and repair in a manufacturing environment .

• Practical troubleshooting skills across electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs, motors, motion controls, pneumatics, and hydraulics.

• A demonstrated commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

• The ability to organize competing priorities and communicate clearly with mechanics, operators, and other supervisors.

• Experience training and coaching maintenance employees.

• The ability to work safely around complex, highly automated machinery in a manufacturing environment where temperatures vary.

Food and beverage manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. Lean or Six Sigma experience is a plus.

The anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 annually for US-based employees. This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
