PREQUALIFICATION ANALYST

FULLTIME – Towson, MD Work Model: In-person Seeking A full-time Prequalification Analyst to join our Whiting-Turner team. What It Takes The ideal candidate has a background in business and construction with an understanding of accounting principles, financials analysis, and an interest in the construction field. This individual will bring experience of providing customer service in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants will join our prequalification team in reviewing subcontractor prequalification profiles. Assignments include daily office attendance to local Whiting-Turner office Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm, 40 hours /week Job Description Reporting Relationship : will report to a department manager, coordinator, or analyst. Tasks Assigned : You will be responsible for various aspects of risk analysis for financial , safety and other aspects of prequalification. Your daily tasks will include some or all the following: Reviewing subcontractor submissions for completeness & accuracy while maintaining quality and productivity goals Engaging with trade partners & subcontractors for missing information By both written (email) and phone Analyzing income & balance statements for financial risk evaluation Providing feedback to other analysts and project teams on risk findings Attending weekly progress meetings Assisting with maintaining logs as required And any other duties that may be assigned Required Skills Technical Capabilities : Qualified candidates should be familiar with the following software : Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, etc. The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including the disabled and veterans. #LI-RP The Company’s pay ranges are dependent on a number of factors including but not limited to role, previous internships with the Company, education experience, and location.
