Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU / Pre-Op / OR

Monday–Friday | Approx. 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM Plum Creek Surgery Center No Nights | No Weekends About the Role Plum Creek Surgery Center is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our growing team in a full-time PACU / Pre-Op / OR role. This position plays a vital role in delivering safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing interventional pain management procedures in our ambulatory surgery setting. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, collaborative, and committed to clinical excellence while thriving in a fast-paced surgical environment. Key Responsibilities Deliver professional nursing care to pre-anesthesia, post-anesthesia, and operating room patients Support the smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the operating room and fluoroscopy suite Assess and monitor post-operative patient conditions, including vital signs and recovery progress Identify and report patient condition changes to physicians promptly Respond appropriately during post-operative emergencies and perform necessary interventions Maintain adherence to organizational policies, nursing standards, and regulatory requirements Apply and uphold principles of aseptic technique Ensure exceptional patient care and customer service throughout the patient experience Assist with inventory management, supply utilization, and operational efficiency Participate in ongoing quality improvement initiatives and collaborative team efforts Perform additional duties as assigned Qualifications Education Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN preferred Experience Clinical experience in pain management, ambulatory surgery, surgical center, primary care, or perioperative nursing preferred Experience with patient care coordination, nursing triage, workflow development, and quality improvement initiatives preferred Knowledge of: Joint Commission standards HIPAA regulations Patient-Centered Care Value-Based Care Required Licensure & Certifications Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas Current CPR certification required American Heart Association BLS certification preferred Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong clinical judgment and nursing competency Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to build strong relationships with patients and team members High attention to detail and accuracy Strong problem-solving abilities Experience with Microsoft Office and electronic health records (EHR) Dependable, accountable, and team-oriented mindset Why Join Us?
