Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for a contract/temporary opportunity in Caguas, PR within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical manufacturing industry. This role is ideal for an early-career engineering professional with 1-2 years of experience who is ready to support manufacturing operations, process improvement, equipment performance, and production efficiency in a highly regulated environment.

As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will work closely with production, quality, validation, maintenance, and technical teams to help ensure reliable manufacturing processes, strong documentation practices, and continuous improvement across operations. This is a strong opportunity to gain valuable industry experience in a professional setting known for structured processes, cross-functional teamwork, and opportunities to build technical manufacturing expertise.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting process, equipment, and production-related issues.
- Assist with process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, cost reduction, and manufacturing performance.
- Collaborate with quality, validation, maintenance, and production teams to support compliant manufacturing practices.
- Review, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation, procedures, reports, and technical records.
- Participate in investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement activities.
- Monitor manufacturing metrics and support projects that improve productivity, reliability, and process consistency.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $53,270 to $58,240 per year.
- Job type: Contract/Temporary.
- Location: Caguas, PR.
