Patient Registration Specialist
LHH is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Patient Registration Specialist to support one of our healthcare clients in the Albuquerque area. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who thrive in fast-paced settings and are committed to delivering exceptional patient service.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Welcome and check in patients for appointments and hospital admissions
- Accurately verify insurance details and secure necessary authorizations
- Update and maintain patient records in compliance with healthcare standards
- Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars efficiently
- Collect co-pays and process billing information with accuracy
- Partner with clinical and administrative staff to support seamless patient experiences
What We're Looking For:
- Prior experience in patient access, registration, or front desk roles in a healthcare setting (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Experience with EHR/EMR systems like Epic or Cerner is a plus
- Ability to manage sensitive patient information with professionalism and discretion
- High school diploma or GED required; additional training in healthcare administration is a bonus
