Kitchen Assistant Manager
$21.31 - $22.16 per hourOrono Public Schools
Description: Kitchen Assistant Manager (5.75 Hours/Day) Job Summary Conduct majority of preparation responsibilities. Provide high level of customer service to students, families, and staff. Engage in a variety of duties in a school cafeteria. Light prep and serving. Dishwashing. Cashiering and clean up. This kitchen will be under construction for part of the school year and will transition to all foods prepared on site for daycare and pre-K students. Qualifications Must be able to monitor and maintain appropriateinventories for planned menus. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information required. Must possess excellent written and verbal language skills. Prior food service experience in quantity cooking and food preparation preferred, but not required. Ability to work in a fast-paced, flexible work environment. Position involves lifting, twisting, and turning. Bargaining Group and Level: Food Service - Kitchen Assistant Manager COMPENSATION $21.31-22.16 IINSURANCE Single Health: 45% Covered by District Employee + 1 Health: 40% Covered by District Family Health: 37.5% Covered by District Dental: 100% covered by District Life insurance equal to annual wages: 100% Covered by District LTD insurance: 100% Covered by District Employee Assistance Plan (EAP) HOLIDAYS Holidays: 4 Paid Holiday/Year OTHER BENEFITS Longevity Pay: $100 RETIREMENT/PENSION Positions covered by Minnesota Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) #J-18808-Ljbffr Orono Public Schools
