Job Title: Registered Nurse – Pediatric Ambulatory Care
Location: Liverpool, NY
Type: Contract
Shift & Schedule: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 5 x 8-Hour Shifts

Pay Rate:
Local Pay: $65/hr – $70/hr ((Based on Experience))
Traveler Pay: $2,400/week – $2,600/week (Based on Experience)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a Registered Nurse – Pediatric Ambulatory Care to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient pediatric setting. The ideal candidate will have recent pediatric outpatient experience, strong clinical assessment skills, and the ability to work independently while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care and perform patient assessments in an outpatient pediatric setting.

• Administer immunizations, perform hearing and vision screenings, TB placement and reading, straight catheterization, ear flushing, and other nursing procedures as needed.

• Accurately document patient care using the EPIC Electronic Medical Record system.

• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.

• Educate patients and families while maintaining a safe, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.

• Current BLS (AHA) certification.

• Minimum 1.5 years of recent nursing experience (within the past 2 years) in an acute care facility of similar size and level.

• Required: Outpatient pediatric nursing experience.

• Preferred experience with immunizations, hearing and vision screenings, TB placement and reading, Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, straight catheterization, and ear flushing.

• Experience with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.

• Excellent communication, assessment, and interpersonal skills.
