Job Opportunity
In this position, your schedule will be from 12:00am to 8:30am (nights), Monday through Friday.
This is a full-time position with eligibility for benefits.
As part of this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Performing essential patient care processes involving moderate and high complexity testing
- Analyzing, reviewing, and reporting testing results
- Recognizing and implementing corrective actions as necessary
- Working in a fast-paced laboratory setting with biological and chemical hazards
- Promoting safety, compliance, and quality control
Requirements for this role:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Technology; OR Bachelor of Science in Chemical, Biological, or Physical Science with 1 year of Medical Technology training
- 1 year of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing
- Certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists or equivalent
- NYS Laboratory Licensed.
- Proficient reading, writing, and analytical skills
- Ability to operate various laboratory equipment
Bonus qualifications include:
- 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in high complexity testing within a specialized area
Compensation for this role ranges from $38.00 to $55.00 per hour, commensurate with experience and potential geographic differentials.
