JOB TITLE: Spot Weld Operator-2nd Shift

LOCATION: Tennessee

JOB SUMMARY

Uses knowledge of welding techniques to fabricate metal components and assemble structural forms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
•Fabricates finished sheet metal products.
•Installs and repairs various equipment and components.
•Follows blueprints to meet product specifications.
•Calculates material measurements to verify specifications.
•Conducts tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.
•Cleans the machines and surrounding areas at the end of the shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
•High school level education or equivalent and specialized training which may be obtained in vocational courses or on the job.
•Previous experience in welding, manufacturing, or other related fields.
•Familiarity with welding tools and procedures.
•Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics.
•Ability to handle physical workload.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to lift 50lbs with or without accommodations.
The functions of this position cannot be safely performed by anyone with a pacemaker.
