Occupational Therapist - Pediatrics

Location: New Jersey

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day 4x10-hour shifts (08:00 AM - 06:30 PM), Monday to Thursday.

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic pediatric therapy team. This position focuses on providing individualized therapy services for children with various developmental challenges. The therapist will collaborate as part of an interdisciplinary team, emphasizing family-centered care.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 8-10 patients per day, delivering 1:1 therapy sessions of 60 minutes.
• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize suspended equipment, mats, and various therapy tools as needed.
• Document patient progress and plan of care using the EPIC charting system.
• Work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team, including Physical and Speech Therapists.
• Assist with gathering and cleaning therapy equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric occupational therapy.
• Current BLS certification.
• NBCOT certification.
• Active New Jersey Occupational Therapy License.
