About I-RI-ON

I-RI-ON is built around the idea that great hospitality is just as important as great food. We serve a focused menu of Korean soups, stews, and small plates in a welcoming, neighborhood environment where guests can enjoy lunch, dinner, or a late-night meal.

Co-founded by the team behind concepts including Hue House, Gulp, 929, 56709, and Skin Philosophy, I-RI-ON is seeking a seasoned Server to create the ultimate guest experience.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism
• Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest seating
• Answer phones and assist with guest inquiries
• Operate the POS system and process payments
• Coordinate takeout orders and third-party delivery pickups
• Assist guests purchasing retail banchan and other grab-and-go items
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting host stand and entrance
• Communicate effectively with servers, runners, and the kitchen to ensure smooth service
• Complete opening, side work, and closing responsibilities
• Help create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for both guests and teammates

• Stays organized and composed in a fast-paced environment
• Can multitask and prioritize effectively
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Is dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
• Is eager to learn and grow with a new restaurant

Previous host, cashier, or customer service experience is preferred, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are just as important.

Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Comfortable using POS systems and basic technology
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
