About the Position

Job Title: Pediatric Emergency Department RN Profession: Level 2 RN Specialty: Pediatric RN Duration: 17 weeks Shift: 4x12.0 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in pediatric ED required License: RN license in New York required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS Must-Have: BLS certification required PALS certification required ACLS certification required 2 years of pediatric ED experience required NIHSS certification required Description: The Pediatric Emergency Department offers family-centered care for individuals under the age of 19, addressing urgent and emergent issues. The unit includes general care beds, critical care beds, urgent care beds, and a trauma bay shared with adult services. Staff members are trained to function in a fast-paced and challenging environment, managing cases from treat-and-release to acute critical care/trauma. Burn care experience is highly desirable. The following certifications are required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS. TNCC, ATCN, or ABLS certifications are preferred.
