What You'll Actually Do

No two days are exactly the same.

As a Youth Care Worker, you'll spend your day actively engaging with youth, building relationships, teaching skills, and helping create a positive environment where growth can happen.

You'll:

• Build meaningful relationships with youth through mentorship and daily interactions
• Encourage confidence, accountability, and positive decision-making
• Help youth develop life skills that support long-term success
• Lead and participate in recreational, educational, and group activities
• Support daily routines and provide structure throughout the day
• Teach healthy coping skills and emotional regulation strategies
• Help youth work through challenges and celebrate successes
• Collaborate with therapists, clinicians, and other team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
• Use verbal de-escalation and relationship-building skills to support youth during difficult moments
• Promote a safe, respectful, and supportive living environment

You won't sit behind a desk.

You'll be actively involved in helping young people move forward every day.

Requirements

We're looking for individuals who are ready to show up consistently and make an impact.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record
• Ability to pass required background screening and drug testing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and supportive during challenging situations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate Degree or higher
• Previous experience working with youth ages 6-17
• Experience in behavioral health, education, residential care, mentoring, recreation, coaching, or related fields
