Description

American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient therapy position in Danville, IL, requiring at least 1 year of relevant experience and IL PT licensure.

Details

• Outpatient therapy setting
• Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM day shift; no weekend or holiday shifts
• 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day
• Patient population spans all ages, including those with orthopedic and neurologic conditions
• Epic EMR required for charting
• No floating requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of relevant physical therapy experience
• At least a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy required
• Active IL PT license required (if applicable)
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation and treatment across all ages, plan of care design, and modification based on patient response and evidence
• Duties include objective testing for range of motion, strength, and functional tasks, as well as therapeutic modalities such as ultrasound, interferential, and iontophoresis
• Taping for stabilization, facilitation, or inhibition of movement is part of the role
• Communicates with referring providers regarding patient progress and treatment recommendations
• Serves as a clinical resource for staff and students
• Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• RTO is not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract
• Candidates who have been on assignment at this health system for more than 1 year must take a 6-month break before returning to any location within the system
• Interviews are conducted by the facility leader
