Job Details We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Medical Malpractice Attorney. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex medical malpractice cases. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement Conduct thorough investigations into alleged medical negligence incidents Analyze medical records, consult with medical experts, and develop case strategies Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations Mentor junior attorneys and oversee case teams Stay current with evolving medical malpractice laws and healthcare regulations Qualifications Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing medical malpractice law Proven track record of successful case outcomes and substantial settlements/verdicts Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex medical and legal concepts to clients Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
