Process Water Engineer (Lehi, UT)

Change the world. Love your job.Texas Instruments (TI) is looking for an experienced Process Water Engineer to join our Facilities Central Engineering Team. In this role you will drive continuous improvement and optimization of our process water systems, including deionized/ultrapure water (DIW/UPW), industrial wastewater (IWW), and reclaim & reuse systems. You will leverage your technical expertise to advance process efficiency, ensure compliance, and support the strategic goals of our facility’s manufacturing operations. These systems are designed to run 24 hours a day, 365 days a year without interruption, creating a state of the art manufacturing environment. Facilities works closely with TI's manufacturing team to understand how the utility systems impact the process as well as how to reduce consumption.Responsibilities include:Engineering & Technical LeadershipMake engineering decisions that balance safety, reliability, cost, capacity, and operational efficiencyLead the analysis, design, and continuous improvement of deionized/ultrapure water (DIW/UPW), industrial wastewater (IWW), and reclaim & reuse systems utility systemsProvide engineering technical support for system operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident responseDevelop and maintain key system documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, operating procedures, and sequences of operationDrive reliability and risk-based engineering through root cause analysis, FMEAs, system assessments, and improvement roadmapsPartner with operations, maintenance, manufacturing, EHS, and engineering teams to improve system performance and safe operationMentor engineers and technicians while strengthening overall team technical capabilityProject Leadership & ExecutionLead capital and expense projects for system upgrades, expansions, and optimization initiatives from concept through startup and handoffDefine project scope, priorities, schedules, resources, and success measures, and drive execution to planCoordinate design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup activities to ensure systems perform as intendedDevelop scopes of work, bid packages, technical specifications, and construction documentationFacilitate alignment across engineering, operations, supply chain, and external partners throughout project executionIdentify and manage project risks, change control, and implementation issues to minimize operational impactReport project progress, results, and lessons learned to leadershipTexas Instruments will not sponsor job applicants for visas or work authorization for this position.Why TI?Engineer your future.
