Job Opportunity – Operating Room Registered Nurse – Georgia

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Variable schedule with rotating weekends and call. Specific details will be discussed during the interview process. Float requirements include working within facility scope of practice and outpatient settings as needed.

Highlights:

• Comprehensive OR service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, Neurology, ENT, Oral Surgery, Plastics, Transplant, Ophthalmology, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Interdisciplinary support including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Unit Secretary
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• Opportunity to work in a trauma-level facility environment
• Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered (must be finalized at time of submission)

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel assignment
• Required experience in Neurology, Transplant (solid organ), General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedic procedures
• Previous travel nursing experience required; unit does not accept first-time travelers
• Current Georgia RN license or Compact state license
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Proficiency in diverse surgical procedures including but not limited to: craniotomy, ALIF, XLIF, laminectomy/discectomy, transplant procedures, total joint replacement, laparoscopic procedures, cholecystectomy, and hernia repairs
• Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• All compliance documents must be completed by the Tuesday prior to start date
